2014 Fishing Report
Feb 24 2014-

We ran to the Gulfstream SUnday and caught Wahoo up to 60 lbs and a Sailfish and Blackfin Tuna.  Great bite out there now.  The boat cruised 36 mph out and back so the 70 mile trip only trook 2 1/2 hrs.  Dont be fooled when someone tells you they can do a Gulfstream trip in 4-8 hrs and their boat goes 15-18 mph , its impossible.  The true Gulfstream trip is fishing 50-70 miles out depending on time of year and where the Gulfstream is.  There is real good fishing just off the beach on out to the Stream but to have shots at Wahoo, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi and Tuna you need to get all the way out where the warm water is this time of year.
Inshore we'll start catching King Mackerel and Cobia and more but Spring is peak Gulfstream Fishing .

Inshore , the redfish, Black Drum and Speckled Trout are biting and Sharks.

New reports starting now.  First report- ICE and SNOW !, WTH ?  Not supposed to be like this in Myrtle Beach but , what do you do ?  Fished the Keys in December and January .  Spearfishing down there we got Lobsters and Grouper and Snapper.  In January we caught Sailfish and Cobia .  January 1 2014 we caught Wahoo's and Tuna's here in Myrtle Beach.  Gulfstream trips here in Myrtle will produce Blackfin Tuna up to 30 pounds and Wahoo all the way up to 100 lbs along with shots at Mahi Mahi and Marlin as we enter Spring.  Bottom fishing right now can be fantastic with big Sea Bass and Flounder as well as snapper and grouper biting through late Spring. Come on out and lets go fishing !
